WHAT WE DO
We ensure that students from all backgrounds can access a programme of support to build knowledge, confidence and skills in order to make successful applications to top foreign universities. We also make sure that they get help in employability progression and establish a successful mentor-mentee relationship which can guide them when in need.
HOW WE GO ABOUT IT
From shortlisting Universities to accepting offers to receiving your visa to entering the employment market, we aim to provide mentorship to our students at every stage of progress and thereby bring out the best in them!
At our organisation, we acknowledge the privilege, opportunity and accessibility that we and the students we counsel have been granted and, therefore, we choose to function on a Pay-It-Forward Scheme, a cross-subsidy model. With the help of this model, when families, students or young professionals are fortunate enough to be able to pay for these services, we charge a fee. This allows us to make the same services available free of charge to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We aim to do our part for the society we live in to ensure it can be more accessible, equitable and affordable.
Our goals so far, and going forth
We know that even when disadvantaged students achieve the same grades as their peers, they are still less likely to be able to apply and secure admission to top foreign universities. Combined with wider inequalities in the education system, thousands of students miss out on the opportunity to pursue higher education or a specific career path. This also deprives universities and employing industries from a key pool of talent which results in underrepresentation.
At AADAC Education Foundation, we strive to help students gain admission to their dream universities and build a bridge to meet their career objectives. We believe in:
Improving Accessibility
Bridging existing gaps in the foreign education system
Being transparent about resources available to pursue a career abroad or in India
Holistic development of students pursuing higher education by offering counselling on career objectives
So far we have engaged over 100 students and donated over Rs. 40,000 as scholarships, school equipment and other good causes, and supported over 20 students with their university applications.
It’s an exciting moment for us right now! We are now aware that we have a structured programme that helps students and young professionals achieve their goals, so our next objective is to drive quality and expand our services. We aim to take on volunteers, triple the size of our outreach and raise larger amounts of funds without compromising on quality in order to help a greater number of students.
